Our Creation process

At MEPA Studios, we believe in pushing the boundaries of 2D game art.

Our journey began with the rigging of a 3D doll by hand, meticulously animating it to achieve lifelike movements. These 3D animations were then rendered into 48x48 pixel-based frames, preserving the fluidity and detail of the original 3D models.

Our goal was to combine the best of both worlds: the smoothness and precision of 3D animation with the retro charm of pixel art. The normal maps and Normal Map+Y included in this pack allow game developers to achieve sophisticated lighting effects, adding depth and realism to their 2D games.
